TeamSite 6.7.2 SP2 and IE8

System

We have been getting reports from end users utilizing a script that calls IEExplore.exe and then calls a workflow process to upload files. With the introduction of IE8 we are now getting users seeing 404 errors.

We have found that if the user doesn't have IE open to run the script it works fine. However when IE 8 is open the script opens another tab calling the workflow and the user gets a 404 error.

Has anyone every encountered this issue?
