Desperation - TeamSite won't start.
System
Solaris 10
TS 6.7.2
Already have a support ticket open and getting help from Support. This is a doozey for us - have never seen this happen. Running "iw.server start" will not bring the server up. Fails midstream:
-bash-3.00$ sudo /etc/init.d/iw.server start
Interwoven TeamSite starting ...
ERROR: Failed to start. Check /opt/applog/TeamSite/iwserver.log
iwserver.log reports:
iwstart: Waiting up to 60 seconds for iwserver to come up... TIMED OUT
iwstart: ERROR: iwserver did not come up in 60 seconds
iwstart: ERROR: Please look at /opt/applog/TeamSite/iwtrace.log for more information
iwtrace.log reports no errors as if server came up properly.
At this point we see iwserver.sol process running. Per IW Support, we the attempt to mount the stores from the command line and get this error:
-bash-3.00$ sudo /opt/appbin/TShome/bin/iwmount -m
ERROR:5000013: Unable to establish connection with server
ERROR: Unable to determine list of stores, is the server running?
The most wonderful part of this is that we have a failover server that is on a completely separate physical server and is a completely separate TeamSite instance, and when we attempt to bring TS up on the failover, we get exactly the same errors in exactly the same places.
This would indicate to me that the problem is in something that they share - they share the same backing store. I am about to run an iwfsck on the backing store.
I am just throwing this out there in case anyone recognizes these symptoms and can give any help to get us back up and running. We are dead in the water.
