Custom instantiation screen variable corruption!

We have a really weird issue with our custom_instantiation config (which is attached)

when a user enters certain text into the description, its changing a global variable (webmaster view name) which then causes the job to bomb

When a users enters the string "test" into the job description field, we get an invalid group name (something is truncating the last 2 characters)

When a users enters the string "this is a test of content" we get the correct/full group name
