Check Duplicate value in container

System

Hi,

I have a requirement where in i need to check the duplicate value in all the instances of that container.

e.g

container1
Item 1 : value = 5

container2
item1: value =5


I am exploring item.getChildren() but couldnt get much out of it .

any pointers to this would be appreciated !!!
