Prepending Saved Text In DCR

Is it possible to prepend (if that really is a word) hard coded text into values entered via a DCT?

For example. I want a user to enter a text entry for a branch name. In this case the text entered by the user is "Commerce". But when the DCT gets saved to a DCR, I want the value within the DCR to actually read "default/main/Commerce".

Any help, links, or RTFM's would be appreciated.
