I plan to create several regular expressions to remove Microsoft Word ugliness. I need more than what is in VFE clean up. My question is: what are the pros/cons of doing this in VFE vs. Form API. I don't have root access, so my inclination is to use Form API to prevent having to pass a file multiple times to the TeamSite administrator.
