"stale NFS file handle" error

Trying to run "iwstoreadm -a " and I'm suddenly getting "stalge NFS file handle" errors.

I had the server rebooted and the error persisted across reboots. (this confuses me).

The filesystem that holds the backing stores is mounted as UFS. Solaris 10 OS.

I checked /etc/mnttab, /etc/dfs/dfstab & /etc/dfs/sharetab & all looks good. /usr/sbin/share shows "/iwserver" mounted.

Any hints?
