object doesn't support this property or method

I am getting this error when viewing a page that is calling some javascript code inside teamsite server, I tested the same page in my local server and the page displays correctly, i am using internet explorer 7 and Teamsite 6.5 sp3. anybody has an idea. the only thing that i can think of is a server configuration missing.
