clone_was.ipl & iwcpwa

In TeamSite v5.5.2, InterWoven provided a utility to clone WORKAREAs from one backing store to another.

For this, they created Perl script "clone_was.ipl" & C program "iwcpwa".

I'm trying to use these same tools to clone v5.5.2 WORKAREAs to v6.7.2 content store on a Solaris 10 server.

I'm able to get "clone_was.ipl" to work but "iwcpwa" does not... probably due to the fact it was created to run on Solaris 8 & has references to old lib modules (I ran ldd iwcpwa & tried to copy the lib modules over but I don't think they work on Solaris 10).

Can someone from InterWoven resurrect these tools? I'm trying to find alternatives to using "iwmigrate -d -w -only" option to clone WORKAREAs because it's taking huge amounts of time (over 24 hours for my biggest).

Hmm, a thought. In my v6.7.2 backing store, should I first be creating the WORKAREAs using "iwmkwa" and THEN run the "iwmigrate -d -w -only" command? Hmm...
