Change value of IWDELTRACKER.KEYCOLNAME

We are running synchronized deployments to a file system and database, and our table is like this:

content
id
path
teamsite_path

We have the delete-tracker option turned on, and I see that there are records in the IWDELTRACKER table. However, the value of the KEYCOLNAME column in IWDELTRACKER is "path" for all records. The problem is that this column in the content table is used for another purpose--it is the teamsite_path column that contains the area-relative path of the file.

We need to be able to delete records when the files are deleted (this will be triggered in the course of a workflow). Is there any way to get the IWDELTRACKER table to point to content.teamsite_path rather than content.path?
