Read-only external data in FormsPublisher

Hi all,

In brief, we have information from elsewhere in the content store which we would like to display to the user on the form. I am comfortable using FormAPI or inlines to write this data into fields in the form - but I don't want any of this information to make it into the DCR.

Is this possible? I have tried giving empty strings as pathids etc., but this results in the system refusing the DCT as invalid.

Any suggestions?
