Windows - Delayed Write Failed

6.7.1 SP1, Win2003. on of our developers hacks on the css via notepad though the network path: \\server\default\main\branch\workarea\content\css\

A couple times now the file has become corrupt and I am seeing an error saying Delayed Write Failed in the event viewer.

Anyone see this before ? Clues ?
