We have a couple of SitePublisher components in our system that need to reference / "resolve" XSL templates for custom XSL files that are spread out across different branches / workareas.
Our current site is setup to map to a specific branch/workarea, which does have its own XSLs as well, however in addition to that, we have other XSL templates that are managed out of different branches/workareas, and hence we need our SitePublisher components to be able to reference and resolve these XSL templates in other workareas / branches as well. How would we achieve this ?
1. As per the SitePublisher Dev Guide, Interwoven supports the mechanism of "
http://www.interwoven.com/custom[relative file path].xsl" - but as mentioned - "This URL syntax pulls files from the TeamSite work area of the current site.", so this does not work for other workareas / branches.
2. We also tried configuring iwproxy remap within TeamSite to help with this, with the hope that we could get SitePublisher to "look at" XSL templates across the other branches/workareas, but that doesn't seem to work too.
On LiveSite Runtime, I am guessing this may be less of an issue for us, and we could come up with ways of doing this, though any thoughts on that are welcome too, but on TeamSite, where we have different and multiple branches/workareas, each with their own set of XSLs that we need to cross-reference in some cases in other sites / componetns as well, AND we need the ability for this to work correctly in SitePublisher Preview as well, how would we manage this ? Has anyone else run into this situation ?
Any suggestions / input would be most helpful.
