Previewing editions

System

For J2EE web applications or ASP applications is there a solution available for previewing editions.

Typically, in the past we have configured one or two workareas and Staging for preview by configuring each application in the application server and then using proxy remapping to send the request to appropriate server.

I think we need a plug-in solution for this ? Anyone came up with a solution for this ?
