Hi! I wonder if anyone else has come across the following situation and knows a way to get around it effectively:
Our environment consists of two Solaris TS implementations with one Staging NT box and two Production NT boxes with OD pointing to the three NT boxes. We have one branch which continues to give us problems on one of the production machines. Namely, sometimes when it tries to deploy, the one production box attempts to deploy ALL of the files, even though there might be only several files that had changed. In doing this, the second production box waits for number 1 and eventually gives up, causing a rollback. I wind up fixing this by doing a deployment piecemeal. After this, everything works fine once again.
This is a recurring problem. Is there a good way of synchronizing the sender and receiver end from time to time? Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks a bunch,
Dave
