LiveSite-Targeting : Extending the User Profile-how to add custom properties

ENV :- Teamsite 6.7.1 SP1, Livesite 3.0.2 ,Targeting 3.0.2

I want to add some custom properties to userprofile datatype. Any idea how we can add custom properties ?

Overview of Userprofile Datatype

Targeting Data Types

User Profile. The User Profile data type provides information about a basic
LiveSite user. The base user profile includes the
following properties:
???? id. Specifies a unique id.
???? userName. Specifies the user name, such as “joesmith.”
???? firstName. Specifies the user's first name, such as “Joe.”
???? lastName. Specifies the user's last name, such as “Smith.”


etc ....

I want to add some more properties like

???? music. Specifies interest in music. "rock"
???? games. Specifies interest in games such as “cricket.”


Any pointers for this issue would be very helpful.
