aspnet_wp.exe preventing folder deletion?

Hello all. I have an intermitten issue and am not sure if it's a conflict between asp.net and OD.

Every once in a while, we will delete a folder from TeamSite and then submit the changes. It seems like when OD pushes out the changes, the folder that is to be deleted gets locked by a process. When this happens, our entire site crashes throwing up a hard error. I've used Filemon to see what process is locking the folder and it's aspnet_wp.exe. If I kill the process, it gets restarted and the folder is then deleted.

Anyone have any ideas why this process locks the file? Is this a conflict between aspnet_wp.exe and OD?
