We used the iwidmap CLT to modify our UID mapping as part of our upgrade process to 5.5.2 on a new Solaris server. It appeared to work great, until I tried to log into TeamSite. It didn't recognize my login/password combination for myself or my coworker (we are the masters on the system). Other people's logons appeared to work fine. When I did a quick lookup of files in the backing store, it showed files that should have been owned by me (my new UID) being owned by my old UID. Thus, those files were in no man's land since my old UID no longer exists. When we executed the iwuser command on ourselves, it showed us still having our old UIDs. The passwd file contained our new UID and we are able to log in to Solaris just fine, so we determined it's some kind of Interwoven problem. My coworker tried a bunch of things and finally resolved the problem by using the iwuser CLT to delete our UIDs then recreate them (if deleting the entry doesn't solve the problem on its own). This is pretty bizarre behavior and we have a support case pending. By the way, the files that are owned by my old UID are still owned by the old UID - I have to fix those by hand. I will update this thread when support lets us know why we ran into this problem. We are thinking that the iwidmap utility is missing some things. Beware if you use this utility.
