Customers and partners interested in participating in the beta test for the next release of the Content Integration Module (CIM) are encouraged to send email to

WHEN:
The beta test will run through this December and January and focus on CIM's new SDK features that enable development of custom adapters and the usability of the out-of-the-box example adapter for hot-folder publishing into TeamSite workflows.
BACKGROUND:
The Interwoven Content Integration Module (CIM) provides a lightweight integration framework for connecting content-centric business processes and systems. CIM provides support for:
* Repository monitoring and change notification
* Updating repository metadata and content location based on pluggable content analysis services
* Publishing content and metadata between systems
CIM 1.0 provides out-of-the-box adapters for connecting TeamSite 6.7.1, WorkSiteMP 5.0 and MetaTagger 4.1.2. CIM 1.1 will provide documentation, APIs and examples for creating custom adapters and integrating them with TeamSite, WorkSite MP and MetaTagger.
