IWOV_IDMAPS (SHORTID and LONGID) - Urgent

"To overcome the maximum database object name length imposed by database servers, OpenDeploy builds a mapping table called IWOV_IDMAPS in the destination database.".
We are in the process of moving from SQLServer to Oracle. SHORTID is getting changed across environments. Is there a way we can keep the short id constant across environments?.
Is this something random?...getting into maintenance issues as we have some triggers on those short tables???
