ERROR - Invalid version info exchanged

I received the following ERROR message deploying from OD 6.0.2 SP 1 Solaris 9 to RHEL ES 3 6.0.2.0.0 Build 46963 SYM Interwoven 20050402:

Has anyone seen this "Invalid version info exchanged" before?
