Windows Vista - Unable to download files

I recently upgraded to Windows Vista and unable to edit files in TeamSite 6.5 with JRE 1.6. When attempting to download the file, the download alert never goes away and stays @ 0% downloaded. Have the same issue on IE7 and Firefox 2.
