I tried tarr'ing up some content from a user's WORKAREA and the tar process died when trying to add a GIF file to its archive. It just hung there. So I killed the tar process, and when I ran the iwstat command to see if the server was cool, I get this output:
$ /teamsite/iw-home/bin/iwstat
Status: Server running
ID Thread User Duration Operation
0x2306 0x14 tvaughan 3555.030 nfs2lookup aboutfm_off.gif a5e9d/a5cf5/a5b17
That nfs2lookup command isn't dying . . .it just stays around. Does anyone know of an analogous Interwoven command to the unix "kill" command? I don't want to restart the process just because a file lookup went astray
I'll run the iwfsshrink this weekend when I get the chance and hope that it fixes any corruption problem, but how do I get rid of that nfslookup in the meantime?
TIA,
Tom
