Browse outside of TeamSite

Just a question for everyone...

Is there ANY way for me to code/configure so that from my Browse... button within a template I can browse to network drives? Right now I can only browse to the drive that TeamSite is mounted to, and this is a problem for many of my users cause files they want to link to at located on network drives elsewhere, outside of TeamSite. Any ideas????
