new Daylight Saving Time and jre

I am running TS 6.5 sp2 and am wondering about the upcoming daylight savings time change (date changes) and it's effect on Teamsite.

According to Sun the version of java that comes with 6.5 (I believe it's version 1.4.2_05) is not the recommended version. Version 1.4.2_11 is what Sun recommends.

Sun offers a time zone updater app for some of the lower versions.

Should I be concerned? Should I apply the updater?
