nt or solaris for TS summary?

Has anyone encountered / Is there a whitepaper, tech doc available that summarizes all of the little differences that work differently for running / administering TeamSite on NT (IIS) vs. Solaris (Apache) (i.e. authentication, directory structure, naming standards, etc)?

The TS admin/wf/user manuals are full of sidenotes that start with "On Unix..." or "On NT...."- is all of this summarized anywhere? it would be very useful for orgs trying to decide between 2 platforms, at least regarding the application level
