Hi,
I am facing a problem which may have been discussed in the Forum earlier but am unable to site it. I am trying to populate a drop down item with an inline callout from a Flat file in a DCT. The flat file contains entries in various languages with latin, chinese etc characters in it. I am able to populate the drop down box but the non-english characters are not being displayed properly, instead i get a - '�' character in their place.
I have included
[left]?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?
[/left]
in the datacapture.cfg and also have included
utf8 perl module in the perl script.
But still i am not able to resolve the issue.
I have also tried substituting the characters with the html code and the ascii code before populating the drop down, but with no success. Kindly give me some pointers here.
