OpenDeploy 6.1.1 beta will begin in mid-October. We're looking for testers for any of the features which are listed below.
1) SQL delivery adapter (executes SQL scripts on target server. The SQL scripts to execute are determined from the OD manifest based on a regex)
2) New Microsoft delivery adapters:
IIS - create virtual directories and websites. Applies IIS properties.
MSI: Installs, updates, and uninstalls MSI packages
COM+ - Installs COM+ objects in COM+ catalog (improved from OD 6.0.2 to introspect dlls to determine CLSIDs rather than hardcoding them in adapter configuration file.)
3) StarTeam source code system payload adapter: extract code from StarTeam.
4) non-recursive deployment of directories - Specify to deploy only root level files and not recurse through directories)
5) BEA Portal payload and delivery adapters - extract portal configurtations and apply to a new portal server.
