Hi All,
I have installed the BAM server 6.7 SP3 on apache tomcat and I'm able to see the welcome page of BAM.
When I try to login to PRS client, I'm getting the following exception. The most craziest thing is that we have opened an SR for this issue and worked hard with EMC support and finally one day we were able to resolve this issue and was able to login to PRS client after installing the BAM 6.7SP3 without patch released in 2015 Nov. The latest patch BAM 67SP3 P03 was the issue. After an hour we had to restart the tomcat instance on which bam-server is deployed and since then we are getting the same issue which we got earlier. Is BAM really a stable product in DCTM BPM suite? I don't think so.
The SQL server BAM database is reachable and the connection properties in jdbc-config.xml is all looks good.
These are the work around that I did but still the same issue
============================================
As per the BAM installation guide, I have replaced the jre folder of the PRS with the same version of jre that is being used by bam-server
I tried with both java 7 and java 8 for bam-server and PRS.
I tried to login to PRS without replacing the jre folder.
Cleared the BAM-server tomcat cache and dfc.data.dir cache.
I tried replacing the SQL server host name with IP address in jdbc-config.xml
