Teamsite unable to view aspx pages

We are having problem displaying asp,aspx pages (html no problem) in teamsite...we tried to run the same asp page in IIS (created a new virtual directory) and it works...the page just doesnt work in ts6.5(windows 2003 enterprise server)....
we tried out the steps listed in Knowledge Base Article: 49749 ...and now it got worse...even html pages also cannot work...we get a this error "http 401.1 "You Are Not Authorized To View This Page Error" ......wat is the problem....have been trying for days...thank you
