The beta program for OpenDeploy 6.1 and ControlHub 2.1 will be starting at the end of January. This is a great opportunity to test out new features and get your feedback considered before the general release. It's also a great way to test out the ContolHub add-on module that adds versioning and workflow capabilities (including out of the box provisioning and rollback workflows). Note that ControlHub comes with an out-of-the-box demo scenario. So all you need is a supported windows or solaris machine to test the end-to-end functionality of ControlHub.

OpenDeploy
- Remote upgrade (upgrade OD servers remotely)
- Performance throttling (scale back deployments when disk space and deployment leg thresholds are exceeded)
- Fine grained deployment termination (cancel a deployment during compare and transfer phases)
- EA Dump - Write EA's to xml dump file
- Weblogic 9 App server delivery adapter
- File system interface support in BEA bulk loader delivery adapter
ControlHub
- Integrated Configurator helper (now in the ControlHub UI)
- Improved reporting (get branch and job initiator in reports)
- Configurable workflow enhancements (configure extra stages and tasks)
Archival Module (new add-on module for OD)
- Allows you to define archival policies for permanent storage of ControlHub editions via workflow job.
