Returning data from a Call Server

OK, so I have a callserver process set up and running. I am
able to make a change in the callserver & it does show up in
the DCR.

I originally wanted to send a parameter from JS to Perl, have Perl
read some files and change some variables and have those variables
used again in JS.

Since the callserver is an async call, there really does not be a way to
wait for the answer. So I can write it so the Perl does more of the work,
but just curious if there are other options.

BTW, I have been following closely the other threads on call server, but thought
a new one was appropriate.
