Form data and dcr reusable ?

I am using teamsite 6.5.

I have created a set of templates and dcr.I copied all the file's like presentation.tpl ,datacapture.cfg and dcr files to New Interwoven machine(different Server).Whenever i try to edit my old dcr files copied from old interwoven machine, i am not able to edit the data with the form, the interwoven system prompts to download the dcr files.If I create a new form using my new interwoven machine, i am able to work asusual (ie)the new files are editable using forms.But my old data imported from my old interwoven server cannot be edited with the form.How to solve this problem .Kindly advise
