DataDeploy Vs Implementing Webservice SOAP calls

Hi,

We are looking for the pros and cons in using Interwoven's DataDeploy functionality Vs implementing our own DataDeploy method using Webservice (making SOAP calls to deploy data in the database). Will there be any concerns if we use webservice SOAP calls?
