Deadlocks putting data to od_events

TS 6.5 sp2
OS Win 2003 enterprise server
MSSQL 2000 v8

We are trying to get MS SQL to handle our OD logging. We are seeing deadlocks on the SQL server which freezes the logging. Our usage of OpenDeploy is pretty much continuous all day with multiple deployments running concurrently.

Anyone experience this and or have a solution.

(Yes I posted this same issue yesterday in the TS forum, sorry)
