Active Directory Users not imported in MB
ENV: win2003/MB45SP2/Oracle9i (all same box) + win2003/AD
Hi, I have the following question:
If I set up MB45SP2/win2003 for LDAP it is picking up users in the MBPAdmin group, if I setup the LDAP settings for an AD server then no users are found and the LDAP credentials of the user are not recognised. MBP.log throws the error below:
10/17/05 15:40:28 ERROR: ConnId:18 Request:GetDomainUsersRequest Reason:Unable to access user domain information. Reason: The system cannot open the device or file specified.
For a AD authentication check, I used ldap.exe binding succesfully with the arnout cator account and getting the dn of the user and the group. It might still be that I am entering the details incorrectly... Or possibly there is an AD setup issue?
These are the settings:
Mediabin LDAP: User Base DN: uid=acator,ou=people,dc=eurosupport,dc=interwoven,dc=com
Group Base DN: ou=people,dc=eurosupport,dc=interwoven,dc=com
LDAP credentials: uid=acator,ou=people,dc=eurosupport,dc=interwoven,dc=com
Mediabin AD: User Base DN: CN=arnout cator,CN=Users,DC=emeasupport,DC=interwoven,DC=com
Group Base DN: cn=users,dc=emeasupport,dc=interwoven,dc=com
LDAP credentials: CN=arnout cator,CN=Users,DC=emeasupport,DC=interwoven,DC=com
The group MB45 is a Global Security Group wich is a member of the Domain local Security group emeasupport. I changed that to make of MB45 a universal distribution group and that did not make a difference. Does anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong or where I have to look?
