Private files allowed to be attached to a job

Using TeamSite 6.1, SP2 on Solaris

Every so often a user will push an entire site to production through TeamSite. So they will use the Select All feature to select all the files in the workarea and then kick off the workflow. If there happen to be privatized files in the workarea, they get attached as well.

Then the job gets stuck in a Resolve Conflict state because it can't handle privatized files.

So my question is, WHY DOES TEAMSITE ALLOW PRIVATIZED FILES TO BE ATTACHED TO JOBS????

This is stupid. Don't let it happen. It can only cause bad things to happen. Terrible design.
