how to hide 6.5 container names?

i recently upgraded and to my dislike all container names are now visable, and they didnt in the previous version

<container name="Last modified" hide-name="t">
<item name="LastModified_TimeAndUser">
<database deploy-column="f" />
<hidden required="f"/>
</item>
</container>

i read on the docs the hide-name attribute no longer works...but if i set the dcr type to XML instead of IWOV the form no longer opens i get errors.
