iw-proxy and apostrophe

System

I have a user who has an apostrophe in their login name and whenever they preview content, it takes a long time for iw-proxy to resolve the paths and display the images. Anybody else experiencing this problem or know how to solve it?

There is a regexp in the proxy but I doubt that is causing the problem,
